Festival FRESCA! is Alicante’s annual festival of performing arts — dance, theatre, circus and physical performance held across the city each July. The festival needed a website that could handle a complex programme of events across multiple venues, communicate in three languages (Spanish, Valencian and Catalan), and reflect the raw energy of the performances themselves.
The main challenge was building a clear, navigable programme that let audiences quickly find shows by date, discipline or venue — without losing the visual identity of the festival.
A fully custom WordPress build with a visual-first programme grid — each show presented with its own imagery, date and time, creating an immersive browsing experience. The trilingual structure (Spanish, Valencian, Catalan) was built natively into the CMS, allowing the festival team to manage content in all three languages independently. Typography and layout were designed to match the festival’s distinctive graphic identity.
